About the Business:

Our client is is an international landscape architecture practice collaborating with the best international architects on a diverse portfolio of projects in terms of in typology, scale and geographic range. Projects include exciting hospitality and regeneration projects in Europe, large scale masterplanning projects in Asia, as well as hotels and resorts in the Mediterranean and the Middle East.


Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Virtual Assistant to support our client's outreach efforts, expand the contact list and generate new business opportunities. This role involves lead generation, outreach and securing meetings with potential clients and partners. The ideal candidate will be confident in communication, highly organised and comfortable with digital tools used in business development.


Candidates must be available to begin promptly. Interview dates and times are to be confirmed and candidates will be contacted directly to arrange a suitable time.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Outreach:

  • Expanding and maintaining the company's contact list with relevant industry connections.
  • Developing and executing a targeted outreach strategy to generate new leads.
  • Conducting outbound prospecting via emails, LinkedIn and phone calls.
  • Approaching companies to introduce our client's services and securing face-to-face meetings for the Director.


Marketing & Proposal Support:

  • Assisting in the preparation of client proposals and presentations.
  • Using InDesign to format proposals and marketing materials (an advantage).
  • Keeping the CRM system (HubSpot) updated with outreach progress.
  • Leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT for proposal drafting and content generation (an advantage).


Administrative & Organisational Support:

  • Managing the Director’s business development schedule and follow-ups.
  • Tracking outreach efforts and ensuring a structured approach to lead conversion.


Skills and Requirements:

  • Enjoys researching, networking and building strong relationships.
  • Confident in outreach including cold emails and phone calls.
  • Thrives in a structured yet adaptable work environment.
  • Has experience or a keen interest in business development, sales or client engagement.
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn and AI-powered writing platforms.

Location: This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Ireland during business hours.


Hours: We are seeking a candidate to work 5 hours per week, with the potential to increase as more leads are generated and the business development efforts progress.
