I started my career in marketing while I was living in Dubai. I was a conference producer for two years which involved researching and networking to build engaging content for medical professionals. I then transitioned over to the marketing team and very quickly got promoted to a marketing manager where I was tasked with organising launch events around the world in places such as Singapore and South Africa. When I left Dubai to return to the UK, I continued to work in marketing with a strong focus on event management.

My experience is extensive and also varied. I’ve worked in events for 12 years and have done everything from conferences, securing speakers, data build, networking, PR, social media marketing, email marketing as well as website and design.

I have chosen to take a career break over the past few years to look after my son who is about to turn three. I feel like now is the time to find a job role which I can fit into my schedule.
