In my previous role as a Administrative Officer, I managed a wide range of administrative tasks, from scheduling appointments, meetings, handling confidential information with the upmost discretion. I was also responsible for maintaining an organised filing system and updating contact databases, which I did with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. My experience working in a mental health service prepared me for challenging situations in person and telephone, it honed my interpersonal skills and how to deal with complaints/ patient distress efficiently with empathy.
I am proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, I am also comfortable with learning new technologies and software.
In addition to my technical skills, I am a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing. I understand the importance of clear and concise communication in a work setting, and I am committed to providing excellent customer service. I am also highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, which I believe is key to being an effective Virtual Assistant.
